I go to Ali for every single one of my car needs! He always greets me with a smile, and is so sincere. Obviously having your car in the shop is never a pleasant thing, but he always goes above and beyond what is required/or paid for. When my engine failed he was such a sweetheart about letting me leave it a couple extra days & didnt charge me for the work done. When I crashed my new car he fixed everything (even a couple parts that were not approved in the damages through insurance) just going the extra mile. He is always so gracious when I call (even though I am sure I annoy them calling so much) he, and his staff are always patient and update me the best they can! I couldnt be happier with the service I am provided with every time I need them!! I recommend this shop to all of my friends and family here! If youre looking for an honest and dedicated mechanic in the Anchorage area, look no further. While driving through Anchorage en route to Colorado, I stopped at the shop to get a mechanics opinion about a weird thud sound happening while turning and accelerating. It was 4pm on a Saturday, and Ali (the owner) happily welcomed me and took the car for a spin to figure out the problem. Ali immediately knew the source of the sound and spent the next two hours working on the car. As a student, I was terrified about a massive bill or a complicated fix required to make the drive south. I told Ali about my limited budget and how I needed to get back for classes in a week, then braced myself for the expected bad news. While I was waiting (on the insanely comfortable couches), another customer/Anchorage local told me that Ali is brilliant and that he refers his friends and family there...I soon found out why!
Ali is the best. Good & trustworthy mechanics are hard to find, but Ali has always gone above and beyond. He also takes time to get to know his customers, something you can tell by the slew of holiday and thank you mail from customers that is pinned to the wall. I happened to find Anchorage Professional Auto by luck when I first moved to Anchorage. My friends car, which she had kept in storage for the past year, wouldnt start. Alis shop was the only one open on a Saturday at 5pm. Not only did he drive us out to the vehicle and jump start it so we could get it to the shop, but he and his team stayed late to replace her battery so she would have a car for the rest of the holiday weekend. He has always been kind and honest, and his prices are fair. I will remain a loyal customer and highly recommend him!

I went to another shop down the road and for a thermostat housing replacement, told me around $700! I knew this was way to much, called Alaska Professional Auto guy laughed and said bring it in i can get the parts on the way and get it done for $250! Great honest and quick service, i will go back there when i need work done
Great auto work that is reliable. They finished over ten company vehicle tire AND oil changes in less than two weeks. They also fixed any other issues with the vehicles. The owner is involved in the auto work as well so you know you can trust the repairs done every time.

These guys dont just buy and sell cars, they make sure they last you.unlike most dealerships that dont even really check a car for problems, they do a thorough check. Not only that, but they also fix the problems they find, they dont just let the next guy handle it.they dont bullshit either, they give you a good deal right off the bat and dont really bother trying to take your money, they run a business, not a con shop. from my experience they will fit you into the best car for your needs, for a price that is more than fair. best place Ive seen in my 14 years in Alaska, and the only shop worth going to. -K. I called and shopped around for a tire change over, they are not as busy as the other tire shops so your chances of getting your car serviced is pretty fast maybe even same day.
This is the only place I trust with my car. They are always friendly and dependable. I would refer Alaska Professional Auto to everyone!

In an industry with a plethora of rats-these are the good guys. Please do yourself a favor & come here. My cars alternator stopped turning over about 4 p.m. on a Saturday. I needed a tow to the nearest mechanic, luckily my car decided to break down near Alaska Professional Auto with Ali, Jerry & the team. I arrived sweaty and with a heavy heart. Ali had answered my anxious phone calls several times with assurance and helpful information. He actually asked his guys to stay late, on a Saturday, to finish my car so I could get home. The price he charged me was more than fair-no extra for staying an hour and a half late, after closing time, just to help me out. I felt like family. I cant believe you are doing this for me I said. Well, thats what we do. We help people. That is why we have been in business for over 30 years Ali said. They are the best. Tell them Steph sent you!

This is the only shop I will take my vehicle to. They have always treated me very well. They are honest and stand by their work. Ive been ripped off in the past by mechanics, but Ive never had a problem here EVER. Ive had minor work done and recently had them replace my motor. I highly recommend them. Ive sent family members to them and they wont go anywhere else either. No one touches my vehicles except for this shop. They have a customer for life.
